Salty Dog Construction, LLC is a family-owned business in Crawfordville, FL. The unique story of how this business came to life embodies the true definition of persistence and determination.

Our owner, Stan, has always had a knack for construction. At an early age, he began working as a field representative in Arlington, TX. After gaining his business management degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, Stan relocated to Tallahassee, FL to pursue his dream of building houses.

Unfortunately, the recession of 2008 hit the real estate market hard. This impacted Stan's home building business tremendously. Knowing that he had to make a way by any means necessary, he became a commercial fisherman. As the economy slowly picked back up, so did his love for construction. A close friend employed Stan to build his restaurant, and the rest is history: Salty Dog Construction was reborn and has been taking off like wildfire ever since.
